Philip's individual mini-projects

Explaining what YIP was for me, I can show what I was thinking, experiencing and doing this year. A big part for me was the contributors’ input which took me with them into the world of their engagements. Orland of course brought me into my self, Michael d’Aleo for example send me into the questions of today’s environmental issues.

Here some of my mini initiatives:

Be a Clown. Looking into the world with the eyes of a clown;
Picture series of a clown in different atmospheres.

Flow form tests: Our Question: does the water treatment of a flow form effect the development of life/the growth of plants? We where testing the effect of 4 different waters on the rout growth of cress seeds. Tested with stirred tab water (stirred in vortex for 1 hour), tab water, flow form water and water which didn’t flow through the flow form.

Flute. Bach solo piece. Now clear wish to become a good musician, study flute! There is an exercise I developed with which I am able to make more fine music with less effort, “out of the source”. In this way I developed a much better resonance and it will bring me good music, experiences and playing opportunities in future!

Listening. Pianist 2 times, cellist, duet viola and piano, opera singers, Sophia Karlsson, Jul oratoriet in Stockholm, concert with David, Zinzi, Christoph, Ann-Christin and Alexandre (attnention specially on the acoustics), music played from Janekel, listening to Inga, viola solo concert in a Swedish private concert-living room.
 listening to the quality of the sounds and, when the music was good, experiencing the excitement of the piece, the player and the instrument. I enjoyed (as everybody knows) Bach the most. It becomes more and more exciting, I gained some understanding for the Structure of his music, saw recently, that it must be full of feeling and I practised the attention and concentration needed to follow the music for big parts of the concert. I want to study the flute when I go to Witten and work hard, as I sense that there is much more music and excitement possible.

Piano: playing my first piano fugue from J. S. Bach: playing, hearing, thinking, shaping, two similar lines which are being played one later then the other but then together in time. I did it dog!

Continue Michaels cours: (reading his articles having questions about the climat change), reading Arthurs articles and having one conversation with one of the “Baltic See Project” co-workers.

Financial crisis: what is it? How will it continue, come to an end? What does it need for social development to come? How can you take part on the issue? Buy silver? Having talks with Michael and Pete, going to Soedertaelje to talk to banks and ask for silver, think about the funds of my mother and me.

“Solar Partnerships”:Would it make sense to encourage private people to invest their solar panels planed for their own houses in a “SolarPartnership” and collaborate with a e.g. Sicilian family to fully use the enery

Motivation writing for University: My motivation to go to Witten’s University to study Philosophy and Culture reflection is the “outcome” of this year as well as the continuation of my wish for development before and during YIP. I want to prepare in order to be able to offer myself to the tasks in the development of human beings and the world. YIP and my mini projects brought me to the point where I can see what I want to develop and study in the coming years: learn to research freely (news, information, issues,...), study spiritual thoughts from other people, study Culture and humanity in order to gain an understanding of what needs doing in the world, study the Flute, learn free thinking, study economics in the same Uni, start businesses, projects, work for community and income in a Caffe, study the world more deeply,…

Conference engagement: contemplate and have conversations about the process and bring dynamic and questions to the group.

Observe the lupiner fliower. Over one and a half week every day for a short time. Just looking at it and following its lines inwardly, or sometimes going from an inner wide, open view not only focusing on the flower, but focusing on the whole image around me in the same time. I saw it growing every day and I followed the change from the latent bud to the shooting flower.

Biometrical Passports: the contemplation of this phenomenon started when I gave my attention to a little feeling of “listen to this, there is something not right with these new passports”. From there on I put myself into a search of how to deal with this issue. I gave thought to it and started conversations. There are measured points in the face for the biometrical pictures. Connecting the points one can discover that they lay in the measure of the golden ratio. The golden ratio is found in most expressions of life; in our face it can be seen as the expression of human existence. This raises an interesting question: What does it do to the idea of this expressions if we use the images for control?
The other question is: where we do go if we say yes to more and more control of our lives. We start believing that what the governments want us to do is what we need. This believe is out of fear (“terrorism...”)...
Following my intuition and these thoughts I put myself into the outer unfreedom of not choosing a passport for now; and in the freedom to experience what can be experienced while not having a passport.

“Shaping the world”. Going through the process of the last years and taking part in YIP, listening to the concerns of the world, I developed a thought: the world asks not for the management of crisis but for being formed by human beings.
I wish to learn to work on all fronts and see the challenges in the world as most necessary and pressures processes and parts of the unfolding development of humanity. This gives hope and your wish to change becomes then even more beautiful as it understands the world’s situation as a living process. Your change shapes its development and gives it a human direction.

“Good and Evil?” Throughout the year I observed two tendencies: the living development of life and a development towards stagnation, loss of verity, and limitation of life. I want to work with both.

Geburtstagsedition

Das hier ist ein neuer grosser Abdate über das was mich in den letzten 2 Monaten beschäftigt hat! Für alle und speziell für Opa! Alles gute zum Geburtstag!!!


Es sommert in Järna! Vor zwei Wochen waren die Eltern da und wir hatten ein paar tolle gemeinsame Erlebnisse. Und so konnte ich endlich einmal auch die Umgebung Järnas und all die tollen Plätze um YIP herum sehen.
Jetzt sind wir hier wieder in einer normaleren Woche und es ist gerade die Initiative entstanden, in der sich eine Gruppe YIP-Studies morgendlich trifft und den Tag gemeinsam mit singen beginnt um dann in die verschiedenen To-do’s einzusteigen. Die Kurse sind seit bald 4 Wochen um und es ist offizielle Zeit zur Vorbereitung der Tagung, die am Ende des Jahres stattfinden soll. Ich persönlich nutze diese Zeit als Freiraum um Kurse nachzubereiten, Ideen und Fragen weiter zu entwickeln und manches um zu setzten. Dafür ist das tägliche Treffen mit meinen Mit-YIPies eine tolle Chance effektiv und inspiriert an die Ideen ranzugehen! Davon hatte ich schon oft geträumt: im Team arbeiten, sich aushelfen, inspirieren und neue Fragen gemeinsam denken.
Ich bin gerade am Thema Finanzkrise und will teil nehmen indem ich mich einlese und darüber nachdenke was zu tun ist und wo es evtl. hingehen könnte. Eine Frage darin ist wie man privat (“als kleiner Mann”) oder als Initiative eine Möglichkeit schafft in Zeiten der Inflation noch in finanziellen Austausch mit anderen treten zu koennen. Ein Mit-Studi, Mikael aus der Schweiz, setzt sich viel mit dem Thema Ökonomie auseinander. Er spricht oft vom Silberkaufen, da er Silber als einen Echtwert sieht, der nicht auf Grund systemischer Schwächen verloren gehen kann. Beim schwinden des Geldwertes bleibt irgendwann nur noch Papier übrig. Bei Silber aber bleibt der Barren ein Barren, unabhängig davon was in der virtuellen Finanzwelt geschieht. Diesen Realwert der Rohstoffe sehe ich als Chance sozialem Leben, Projekte und Initiativen in einer „Finanzkrise“, die bis zur Geldentwertung fortgeschritten ist, finanzielle Handlungsfähigkeit zu ermöglichen. In Zeiten einer Geldentwertung, so denke ich, könnte Silber und Gold einen wertvollen Tauschwert bekommen. Mit dem man in finanziellen Austausch treten kann. Nicht aus Angst und zur eigenen Absicherung, sondern als Initiativmotor in Zeiten in der Initiative noch wichtiger wird.
Ich kam zu der Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema durch den Kitzel, den diese Krise mit sich bringt: ein Zerfallen von Systemen, Reflektion, Neubeginne, und Anregung zu vielen neuen Fragen? Aber auch die sozialen und Gemeinschaft fordernden Aufgaben bringen mich mit dem Thema zusammen.
Es ist sehr spannend diesen Prozess zu durchgehen und durch Gespräche und Recherchen mehr zu erfahren und neue Gedanken zu entwickeln. Vor zwei Tagen bin ich mit Michael nach Södertälje losgezogen um mit den Angestellten in den Banken zu sprechen. Wir wollten herausfinden wie man die Wirtschaftslage zurzeit verkauft bekommt. Nebenbei fragten wir nach Silber. Bei dieser Frage schauten uns die meisten der jungen Ferienjobber an den Banktresen an als hätten sie noch nie davon gehört. Ja, man könnte sagen, dass es lächerlich ist über Silberkaufen nach zu denken, aber ich beschäftige mich damit um die Frage zu stellen und Teil zu nehmen am Geschen. Denn die Großen, finanziell Aktiven, kaufen seit langem Silber und Gold in Massen. Sind sie diejenigen die (neben uns) einen großen Teil des Geschehens kontrollieren? Teil nehmen am Geschehen durch Denken, Verstehen und Fragen-stellen und Teilnehmen an der Handlungsfähigkeit, durch das "Teil-nehmen" an den Ressourcen?

Außerdem gibt es für mich hier zurzeit vieles zu schreiben: Den „Internship Review“, hier den Bericht, die „Individual Project Presentation“, ein Motivationsschreiben.

Am Ende dieses YIP Jahres soll hier eine Jugend Tagung sattfinden, die von den YIP- Teilnehmern organisiert wird. Mein Engagement ist es vor allem Dynamic in den Gruppenprozess zu bringen und Fragen aufzuwerfen. Dazu haben wir einen ganzen Arbeitstag gestaltet mit Raum für eigenes Reflektieren, für Gruppendynamische Spiele und für die Frage ob und wie wir diese Tagung weiterhin gestalten wollen. Es war in meinen Augen ein erfolgreiches Zusammenkommen der ganzen YIP Gruppe in der viel Zusammenhalt und Offenheit entstand. Für mich war das eine gute Erfahrung so ein Treffen zu halten. Es in Sachen Freiraum und Gruppenarbeit eine spannende Fortsetzung von den Gruppentreffen der FeiRaum-crew in Stuttgart. Schaut dach mal auf die Webseite der Tagung: www.360theconference.se
